Renewable Options

Renewable:

There are several products made which can be referred to as renewables.

CARPETS:

Which are made with a 100% Wool Pile with a jute and cotton backing.

These are normally made by Axminster or Wilton weaving machines.

There are a few carpets which are made using the tufted weaving principal which again has a 100% Wool Pile. These are generally made using a relatively new form of backing which when in production uses less energy than previous machines.

HARD FLOORS:

There are a number of products which use natural materials in their manufacture such as linseed, cork, tree resin, limestone, jute and wood.

There are also some products produced which are made from waste petroleum products. Some of these have been made to replicate many natural products such as wood and stone.
